I'd be interested in hearing whn, if ever, folks think the prices of real estate in Florida will drop dropping and stabilize. Anyone got any onfo on that ?
Real estate prices have not dropped much at all on Longboat Key but the number of peole looking has dropped precipitously.

the only good news in real estate in Florida right now is that the lack of business is flushing out the part-timers and those who aren't really full-time, dedicated Realtors. Eventually, that will be good for those of us who practice real estate as our "profession."
I find that real estate sales, while slow in the Osprey and Venice area, ares still closing. Realtors, including myself, just have to work harder and smarter to convince buyers of the underlying great values of the properties on the market.
